Therapy Rooted in Culture, Compassion, and Connection
I’m Emmanuel Garcia, a Mexican American therapist, first-generation college graduate, and the founder of Radiate Hope Therapy. I help first-generation adults and adolescents navigate trauma, substance use, identity struggles, and major life transitions.
Growing up, I experienced the silence and stigma around mental health, especially for Latino men. In many communities, strength is defined by staying quiet. I believe real strength comes from breaking that silence and beginning the journey toward healing.
If you are feeling disconnected, stuck in survival mode, or unsure of who you are outside of cultural or family expectations, you don’t have to carry that alone.
My path to becoming a therapist began when I studied abroad in college and experienced genuine compassion and emotional support for the first time. That experience inspired my own journey through therapy and sobriety and gave me a deeper sense of clarity, belonging, and purpose. Today, I bring that same compassion and understanding into my work with clients.
At Radiate Hope Therapy, every session is grounded in cultural humility, respect, and the belief that your story matters. Whether you are beginning sobriety, unpacking old wounds, or exploring who you are beyond expectations, I will hold space for your healing and growth.
